  1. The app code named Babel came to market as Hangouts at the Nexus 7/Android 4.3 launch. Also, 2 years is not a “long time” since a UI redesign. I expect the current design to last at least one more year. That’s not to say they won’t tweak it with KitKat, but it won’t be a major UI redesign.

  3. I really hope it comes to the GS4 GT-i9505. I am currently on 4.3 unofficial Sammy Release but am rooted. 4.3 is incredibly faster and saved me 868 Mb’s of room after install. I can see how it could easily run on lower than 2 gigs of RAM. If 4.4 can run on 512Mb, it will easily kill off the 64 bit POS iPhone 5s. Since my GS4 GT-i9505 now runs a touch faster than my neighbors 5s, I expect 4.4 to decimate it.

I enjoy being rooted as I can change all of my icons, default sounds and pretty much any UI theme including all default battery, WiFi, LTE and all other upper bar and notification Icons without having to install a theme. Custom Boot Sounds, Boot and Shutdown animations also. Plus overclocking the SD 600 to 2.1 GHZ is mind altering but I only do it on occasion. I see that there is a GT-i9506 variant GS4 coming with a Snap dragon 800 2.3 Ghz CPU…Damn!

Come on with dat Kit Kat…I am ready!
