        1. Hi Clifford,

Have you managed to boot into download mode? Could you please let us know how did you get out of it?

    1. I think the old owner of the phone installed a rom that it cannot access the download mode and recovery mode, how can i change this fucking rom that he installed! grrrrrrrrrr!

  3. I just verified that mobile odin does not support your phone yet. I’m sorry about before. You will have to use above mentioned procedure. Follow everything from the start so that you are successful. I have verified this method myself.

      1. As mentioned inside the post. getting into download mode in this variant is quite tricky. Try again. If you still cannot get into download mode, the final solution is using adb command. Install ADB tool from here:
Let it create a desktop shortcut during installation
Open “Minimal ADB and Fastboot installer”
Now, turn on USB Debugging on your smartphone and connect it to PC
Type following command and press Enter:
        “adb reboot download”
You will get into Download Mode.

            - Edit

thats why I asked if I can just wipe it clean and start over with new firmware…. I cant even get 4g on this phone….

          2. if you plan so, the best way is to flash a cwm or twrp and Install a custom rom for your phone. China version of note 3 has endless limitations! Better consider a us version next time

          1. Andre Championship Loyd

            - Edit

ok let me understand u correctly… First start the “Minimal ADB and Fastboot installer once it recognize my phone then put in adb reboot download…. Now this will restart my phone… Once that happens then turn my phone back off then attempt to get into download mode by pressing the home volume down and power button? is this correct?

          2. No! This adb reboot download command gets you into download mode directly. You do not need to turn off your phone later. Just press volume up button once it has rebooted

  4. You can install USB drivers by installing kies, then plug in device and wait for drivers to install. Then close kies totally. It shouldn’t be running in background or odin will not work.

            - Edit

ok i think i figure it out I just notice this but when I connect my phone to my computer it reads sm-1327 and not sm-n9006…. Could this means something?

          2. Andre Championship Loyd

            - Edit

well I think this could be a reason…. Is there anyway I could possible change the model?

          3. Andre Championship Loyd

            - Edit

hello I just realize something… When I plug my phone into my computer it comes up as SM-1327… Could that b a problem?

          4. Andre Championship Loyd

            - Edit

Ok now this could b a problem… My computer sees my phone as Model # SM-1327 and not SM-N9006. Could this b a reason y kies dont see it and the usb drivers?

  5. Hello Pedro Jair. The Google apps are not installed on Galaxy Note 3 SM N9006 by default. You will have to unlock the phone, root it and then try installing Google apps. Volume can also be increased once you have rooted your smartphone.

  6. Hi Hayder,

First of all, thank you for writing an awesome post for SM-N9006.

I would request for an assistance. I recently got SM9006 from an online merchant. There was an issue with the IMEI, its a fake one, I tried using Mobileuncle and had successfully replaced it with my old iPhone’s IMEI, it worked fine for a day and reverted back to the original one. So I believe it could be due to soft change of the IMEI, and tried replacing the MP0B_001 file by generating using imei, and after replacing the IMEI file with the original one, my phone is under continuous loop rebooting process. I tried to boot into factory mode, download mode, recovery mode, infact tried every whole process available online, but to no vain. It reboots, stays for like 5 secs and then reboots again. Could you please help me get out of this.

I understand the original file was 120 bytes and the new file was only 22 bytes, I think that was the problem.

But at the moment I need help in getting out of this situation. Thanks!

    1. Hello Cadry.
You have messed with something vital to a smartphone. You should have researched before trying it. Changing these files make smartphone useless as they are specific for a device. I am not sure if anything will help you rather that restoring original files. However try flashing official firmware, installing a custom ROM. It may help you.

      1. Hi Hayder,

Seems like I really messed up badly with this thing. Could you help me with the restore ROM thing. A link with step by step instruction on HOW TO, if you can. Thanks for the reply.

  7. Hayder I was so impressed by the way you wanted to keep on helping Andre Champion. You are amazing, I’d probably gave up answering, my goodness. thumbs up for you man.

      1. Dear Sir. I am having the same problem after rooting my samsung log is missing only android logo appeard at the time of booting. Also, in Gmail, I am not able to add my existing accounts. only new gmail accounts can be created. I tried my times. Infact, I reinstalled gmail app but to no result. I feel the installed software is currupt, Is there any way to find out. I own Chinese Galaxy note 3-N9006 (SM-1327)

Avoid the Chinese menus especially the line with “emmc” at the end as that will factory re-set your phone and might knock out your IMEI
