Nokia sends out Nokia X Normandy to developers in India

Lucky developers of India. Nokia is sending Nokia X units also known as Normandy to selected developers in India. It will probably launch in the early April along with IPL which is India’s 20-20 cricket tournament. There is one big rumour that Nokia X is based on the Android Source code but It will not have Google’s services built in. Obviously no Play Store, which means Nokia X will have its own Store provided by Nokia called Asha on Linux (AoL). They already have obtained Top 100 apps from Play Store for its AoL store. Developers who have received Nokia X said that getting Android apps to run on Nokia X isn’t a big deal.

When It comes to price. Nokia is trying to keep the Nokia X price as low as possible. The latest rumour of Nokia X is that it will only cost about INR 6,500 or €80 which is around $105. If you don’t know the specification of Nokia X. Let me tell you. This Smartphone totally looks like Asha 501 which will be unveiled at MWC 2014. Specs of Nokia X was already leaked.
