An innovative idea was presented by Samsung at Mobile World Congress in 2012 that comes up with an amazing smartphone having integrated pico projector. Round about 2 years ago Samsung launched this bulky smartphone which was 12.6mm thick in market with the name of Samsung Galaxy Beam. Although that was an amazing innovative idea to have a smartphone with built-in projector but it goes as a moderate smartphone due to its aging OS, bulkiness and low specifications. Samsung on the other hand didn’t stop working on that flagship and now on the brink of launching its successor with the name Samsung Galaxy SM-G3858.
As a report suggests from gsmarena Samsung Galaxy SM-G3858 has been confirmed by Tenaa by which that smartphone has been certified. They revealed some snapshots of this amazing smartphone. By taking a look on that smartphone one can see that there is an extra button than original beam and having a bump on the upper back which when opened give some extra room to lens. It is made up of metal and quite thick than other samrtphones from Samsung.
As far as specifications are concerned they certainly improved the specs of Samsung Galaxy SM-G3858 from the previous version. As provided by Tenaa some of the Specifications are as:
- Quad-core 1.2GHz chipset
- 1GB of RAM
- 4.66-inch WVGA (800×480) display
- Android 4.2.2 jellybean
- 5MP of camera capable of capturing 1080p video
- microSD slot with up to 32GB external storage
Samsung Galaxy will be made available with TD-SCDMA and GSM connectivity but there is no LTE version yet as only 3G version could be used for Global market. There come no news on the projector quality but we know that previous Samsung Galaxy Beam used nHD projectors having (640 x 360) resolution. As from the snapshots we can see that this smartphone has the “Chinamobile” logo on its back but it doesn’t mean that an international version will not come up.
