Till now all we know about Android new operating system is Android L, No Number no name, Nothing, Well we have got a biggest clue that is giving us idea about what will be the number of Android L,And the source of this is official Google Twitter page.
We saw a photo tweeted from Google’s Official twitter account of Google Now to introduce a new feature where users can view World Cup scores and schedules via the intelligent personal assistant, each of the phones in the image have the time set to 5.00.
If we look in past,Android updates have used the same clock time to reflect the version of the software leading all the way back to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
If you head to the Google Play page and check out the Nexus 5 or the Nexus 7, you will notice that all of the clocks in the top right hand corner show 4.40 as the time to indicate that they run on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Whether it’s Android 4.5 or 5, there isn’t no real indication of the dessert-based name that will follow it there is just Android L As off now. Having surprised everyone with its decision to go for Android 4.4 KitKat, there are many people who are speculating that s Google will go back to its generic naming convention by calling the next installment Android Lollipop.
The next version of Android that is Android L, Is out for developers and its developers version is being used by many developers, and it has alot of new amazing features, you can also Install Android L on your Nexus 5 from here and on your Nexus 7 from here, Now we have to wait till Android L is released for consumers, its Expected release date is around September this year. Lets see what will be its name and it will be Android 4.5 or Android 5.
Google is also strongly rumoured to announce new hardware with the HTC Nexus 9 tablet, the Nexus 6 and even a new Android Silver phone range are said to be released this year.
