How to Fix Google Account Sync Error Android 5.0
Following are the solutions that i came up with while trying to fix the Google Account sync problem on Nexus 4 running on Android 5.0. All the below tricks will help you solve the problem, they worked for me, If one trick doesn’t helps try the other one Hopefully your problem will be solved and you will be able to sync your data with Google servers and retrieve your data from there and make purchases from the Google Play store.
- Make sure you have working Wi-Fi connection or a data connection through your carrier.Also make sure your APN configuration is fine.
- Try a factory reset, It is recommended to do a factory reset after such huge updates.
- Go to Settings/Accounts-Google/Google account, and manually uncheck Google apps you are having problem with and restart your phone and check them again.
- Clear the cache memory
- Turn Off AutoSync
- Delete the Google Account Details and Re-enter them and try again
