Cells at Work! Anime Gets New Episode & New Game App

Cells at Work! Anime made everyone a fan of cute cells in our body and helped us to take better care of ourselves. The anime was very successful due to its unique storyline and its way of portraying things.

“Hataraku Saiten” (Festival at Work!), is the first major event for the Cells at Work! Anime. It has been announced that a new episode for Cells at Work! will be airing on December 27. The episode will be released on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV. The episode “Kaze Shōkōgun” (Cold Syndrome) will be about battling a cold.

The staff describes the story:

A mysterious cell wearing a stylish hat appears before the regular cells, who are bored with just the same work over and over again, every day. This mysterious cell lures the regular cells into a mischievous scheme against White Blood Cell and Killer T Cell. The regular cells enjoy working out their day, pent-up frustration. But, just who exactly is this cell wearing a stylish hat?

Adding to the episode, a game for the series has also been announced. It is called, Itsudemo Hataraku Saibō (Always Cells at Work), and it is available for both iOS and Android devices. The pre-registration for the game has already begun so if you’re looking forward to playing at the first opportunity then it’s better to pre-register.

The anime was directed by Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Drifters) at David Production. Yuuko Kakihara(Tsuki ga Kirei, Persona 4 The Animation) took charge of the series composition. The scripts were done by Suzuki and Kakihara. The designs for the anime were developed by Takahiko Yoshida (Welcome to the NHK, Yowamushi Pedal). Kenta Mimuro was credited as cell character designer, prop designer, and animation scene animation director. The music was composed at MAYUKO by Kenichiro Suehiro (Re: Zero, Girls’ Last Tour).
