Fossil Unveiled New Smartwatch With Snapdragon 3100 Chip

Fossil is making another move towards the smartwatch market, and they have recently announced a new smartwatch. The main attraction of the watch is that it will be equipped with a Snapdragon 3100 chip. Also, it will have a revamped Wear OS from Google. The company has named their new gadget Sports Smartwatch, and it will be colorful. It will be provided with six color options – gray, pink, red, blue, green, and black.

The watch will be available in two sizes – 41 mm and 43 mm. Apart from that, the wristwatch has some interchangeable straps available purchase. The straps will be made of silicone, and there are 28 different varieties, which are water-resistant. The new watch is also packed with features such as ambient mode, integrated heart rate sensor, and a 350 mAh battery which is notified to provide full day backup.

The smartwatch also has GPS and NFC built in. The watch has improved significantly from the past Fossil smartwatch, and the new watch will also have Spotify and Noonlight. Noonlight is an emergency services app, and it will come out-of-box on the watch.

We know that the features are similar to what the other competitors offer, but the novel combination is Wear OS along with new Qualcomm chip. The aim to use new Qualcomm chip is to provide a better battery life, which will be an added advantage to the device from its competitors. Fossil has started selling the watch online at $255, and the watch will also be available at Fossil stores!
