Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched in May this year, and here we are, waiting for the arrival of its successor, the upcoming new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2. The Max Pro M1 was a mid-range phone with quality specifications, and it received a lot of good reviews especially being in the mid-range category, and it is reported that the upcoming Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be even stronger than the predecessor.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Release Date:

It has been confirmed by the company that Max Pro M2 will be launched on 11th of December and the specifications of the device have begun to circulate online. Asus has already confirmed it on Twitter, and they have already declared this upcoming device as the “unrivaled Champion,” in the mid-range category. They’ve also stated that Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will have Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protecting its screen which will happen for the first time to a device which falls in the mid-range category.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Specifications:

According to some sources, the Max Pro M2 will feature a 6-inch notch display with 1080 x 2340 pixels and 402 PPI density.

Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 14 nm SoC, an Octa-core (4 cores of Kryo 260 clocked at 2.2 GHz, and four cores of Kryo 260 clocked at 1.8 GHz) processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. Rumors say that it will be available in two variants which are as follows:

4GB RAM with 64GB onboard memory.
6GB RAM with 128GB onboard memory.

You can further increase the storage capacity up to 512 GB using microSD. Coming to the camera, according to reports, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will sport a dual camera setup on the rear side with the primary one being a 13 MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture while the second one is a 5 MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front side, you’ll get a 13 MP selfie camera.

The device will be reportedly running on Android 8.1 Oreo, and it has a 5000 mAh non-removable battery. Stay tuned to TechGlen for further updates.
