ZTE’s Nubia is preparing for its next smartphone in the series, and this time with the new upcoming Nubia Red Magic 2, the company is expecting to provide the satisfaction which they could provide with the predecessor, Red Magic. The company has already launched the first gaming phone in the series, Red Magic in China which despite all the expectations, lagged behind its competitive devices in the same price range.
ZTE Nubia Red Magic 2 Specifications:
Nubia Red Magic came with 10 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and an octa-core 4×2.35 GHz Kryo + 4×1.9 GHz Kryo processor while the GPU of the device was Adreno 540. The successor of this device, Nubia Red Magic 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, and it runs on Android 9.0, and the designs of the phone are similar to that of its predecessor.
Nubia Red Magic 2 boasts a display of 6.2 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and the processor under the hood is an octa-core combination of 4×2.8 GHz Kryo 385 + 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 385 while the RAM is LPDR4X 10GB. The operations are backed by a mammoth 4000 mAh battery which really comes in handy while doing hardware intensive jobs. The GPU under the hood is Adreno 630 while the onboard storage is 256 GB, so it does seem that this new device will make up for the loss of its predecessor and at the same time will impress some hardcore gaming fans.
The phone is equipped with both air and liquid cooling systems which is boasted by the company for its high-level improvements on temperature and CPU performance. The company claims that users will notice a drop in temperature by 13 degrees and up to 70% boost in CPU performance. For better gaming experience, they have also added a ‘Game Boost,’ option which claims to enhance the experience further.
Nubia Red Magic 2 Price:
The Nubia Red Magic is expected to go live in India very soon, and the price is expected to fall in the range to Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 29.999, and Nubia Red Magic 2 is listed on the JD.com where it has been priced at CNY 3888 (around Rs. 40,588).
