Finally, the moment we have been waiting for is here, the successor to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is here and finally launched in Indonesia. Redmi Note 5 Pro made its way into the Indian market in this year, and today, Xiaomi held an event in Indonesia where Redmi Note 6 Pro was launched. There was quite a buzz for the phone, and the specifications do grant it the right to be called as the ‘successor,’ to Note 5 Pro.

Redmi Note 6 Pro is about 6.26 inches, and it comes with a 19:9 ratio. It features a notch display which is IPS LCD, and it comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and 403 PPI density (approx). You also get the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. However, the version isn’t revealed yet.
This device is quite powerful as powering it is the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and 1.8 GHz octa-core Kryo 260. The GPU under the hood is Adreno 509. Powering all the operations is a mammoth 4000mAh battery.
Coming to the camera, this is the first device in the series which comes with a quad camera setup as this device has dual-camera setup on both sides. The front side has 20 MP+2 MP dual setup while the rear side has 12MP+5MP dual camera setup. The front camera setup is backed by AI features as well some of which are, AI portrait selfie mode, AI face unlock, etc.
Redmi Note 6 Pro comes in two variants, one with the combination of 3GB RAM+32GB Storage while the other is 4GB RAM+64GB Storage. You can also extend the storage via microSD card which supports up to 256 GB.

Redmi Note 6 Pro is available in three color variants which include Rose Gold, Blue, and Black. The first variant (3GB+32GB) will cost around Rs. 14,500 while the other one (4GB+64GB) will cost around Rs. 16,500 (according to the current value in Indonesia).
