Samsung’s New Exynos 9820 To Be Unveiled Next Week

Samsung’s Exynox 9810 has been running over the powerful devices over the past, and with S10 series coming, it was well hinted that the company needed a new successor who is more powerful; which will aid the next generation of high-end devices. Finally, the wait is over as it was announced by Samsung on Twitter that they will be announcing the successor of Exynox 9810, and according to reports, the new SoC will be called as ‘Exynos 9820.’

Exynos 9820 To Be Unveiled Next Week:

 

Samsung has been in the spotlight for the past few weeks, as we heard about the foldable mobiles, and a few other revelations but, this one has to be one of the most important ones of recent times. According to the announcement on Twitter, the next generation Exynox SoC will be revealed on 14th of November, and it was branded with the tagline “Intelligence from within.”

This new Exynos 9820 will be powering the Samsung Galaxy S10 which will be arriving next year, and it will be manufactured based on their latest 7nm process and according to Samsung, this new EUV lithography technology-based SoC will provide a 20% enhancement in performance, and it will also consume 50% less power.

According to many other rumors, Exynos 9820 will sport a dual-core Neural Processing Unit, and an octa-core CPU with a tri-cluster affair and this will render a huge advantage over the AI and other machine learning tasks which are much more complex. It is also said that this new SoC will be able to support 5G modem as Samsung has been stressing on their 5100 modems which are said to make 5G support a possibility on Samsung Galaxy S10 but, according to reports, that will be a separate model.

However, Samsung hasn’t shed much light on this matter, and we are yet to know other key specifications of Exynos 9820, so it seems we will have to wait till November 14 when the new SoC finally gets unveiled.
