Huawei hints that it might be working on a phone with a circular notch just as big as the front camera requires. It means that we might see a notch-less full-screen mobile phone soon if the reports are correct. The circular notch will be provided for camera space, and it will be surrounded with the screen in all 360 degrees, making it a black spot in the display.
The notch is supposedly provided at the upper left side, and it would be amazing to see how does it look when the screen is turned on. Everyone thought that it is a rumor, as the pictures and news were being circulated in Chinese media. But Huawei confirmed that the image is authentic, and they are working on a bezel-less phone with selfie camera in the corner to a private news agency.
Huawei is not the only company working towards this kind of idea, as Samsung is also in the race of producing a bezel-less phone with a similar camera spot, which is also reported by another private new agency. The phone might be called Galaxy A8S, and Samsung might release it in January 2019, and some are also expecting the phone as soon as next month.
Coming back to Huawei, as it will be providing more information on 3 December 2018, so we will be served an official event for their new phone. It would be interesting whether Samsung or Huawei wins the race, as both are deliberately trying to launch their new bezel-less phones.
