Maserati has launched its cheapest SUV, and people fans cannot get enough of it. Firstly, it is Maserati ‘Levante 350,’ and it is called 350 because that is the horsepower rating of the engine of the car. However, this is a petrol version, which is the first petrol SUV from Maserati, and the power of the base variant is 257kW/500Nm, way below what it has been named. But hey, it saves you roughly $47,000.
The price of the petrol variant has been tagged ranging from $139,000 to $162,800. The SUV will have a 3.0-liter turbo-petrol V6 engine, with eight-speed automatic transmission. It is a typical five-door SUV from Maserati if we talk about the body. The car takes 6 seconds to reach 1000 kmph from 0, which is 0.8 seconds more than its other variant.
Moreover, there is another model for the petrol version, called S, of the same car, comes with 321kW/580Nm power, and its price is nearly $47,000 more than the cheapest model. Maserati has explained that the engines in both the variants are different, but they have not exaggerated the information to any further extent. Both the engines are made by Ferrari and are having an almost same outer-looking specification, so it is still unknown what change has caused such a big price difference.
