Vivo has launched the successor to the earlier launched X21 and the new device is called as ‘Vivo X21s.’ Vivo X21 launched in May of this year, and it didn’t take much time for the company to roll out its successor. Vivo launched the new device in China but, it looks that not many know about this yet. The earlier device in the X series sported the in-display fingerprint scanner, and so does the new one but, Vivo X21s does have the upgraded features which also sits well for a mid-range category.
Vivo X21s Specifications:
Stressing on the last line, it is, however, evident that this new Vivo X21s doesn’t differ much from its predecessor in terms of specs. However, changes are brought both to the display and the camera of it. The display is similar to that of Vivo 11 Pro as Vivo X21s sports a waterdrop display which is 6.41-inches in size and the display is full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels). The screen panel is Super AMOLED, and it comes with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The notch type is different, and it is definitely bigger than the X21 which had a 6.28-inch display.
Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC which to be honest doesn’t sit well considering what Poco F1 and a few other devices are providing. This device has 6GB of RAM and an onboard memory of 128 GB, but you can always increase the storage, as it supports up to 256 GB expansion via microSD card. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, and there is a big jump in the front panel camera setup. At the front, it features a whopping 24MP camera while a dual camera setup of (12MP + 5MP) on the front side. Vivo X21s has also bumped up the capacity of its battery from its predecessor as it has a 3400 mAh battery.
Vivo X21s Price:
It is currently available in China where it is priced at CNY 2,498 which is roughly around Rs. 26,035, and we expect to hear about its arrival in India soon. Stay tuned to us for future updates.
