PC Odin and Mobile Odin – Download All Versions

Odin is a tool which is used to install firmwares on samsung devices. In order to know how to use it, visit here.

There are two types of odin available:

    1. PC Odin
    2. Mobile Odin

    • To use PC Odin, first you need to have USB Drivers installed on your PC. Download it here for windows
    • Different versions of odin are availabale for different devices:

Mobile Odin:

    • Mobile odin has made flashing easier
    • With this tool, you can install firmware or flash a kernel on your device without having the need to use PC
    • First download it from Play Store
    • It is not compatible with all Samsung devices. Continue further if your device is included in following list:

    • After installing Mobile Odin on your device, follow the steps below:
    1. Your device must be rooted
    2. You should have atleast 80% of battery left
    3. Make a backup of your important data
    4. Now downoad the firmware for your device. It will be in .tar.md5 format
    5. Put this file into your phone, preferrably internal storage
    6. Launch Mobile Odin:

    • Select open file
    • Select the firmware you want to flash
    • Mobile Odin will automatically set the partitions for you
    • If you want root in new firmware, Select “enable everroot”, ‘inject superuser” and “inject mobile odin”
    • Select “wipe data aand cache” and “wipe dalvik cache”
    • Select “flash firmware”
    • Now just sit back and let odin do its part. Phone will automatically reboot and install the firmware
    • Do not pull out phone’s battery during installation process
    • If you selected wrong files, you can “clear all” option. No worries
